Acorn Printing Services, a leading UK-based company specialising in printing and embroidery, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the season-opening weekend of the Student Motorsport Challenge at Snetterton, Norfolk.
Now in its second year, the Challenge is a unique opportunity for students from schools, colleges, and universities across the UK to gain hands-on experience in running a race car and a race team.
Speaking about the partnership, Duncan Horlor, Director at Acorn Printing Services, said:
“Acorn Printing Services are proud to be supporting the Student Challenge this weekend and, more importantly, supporting the students of the Schools, Colleges and Universities that are taking part in the series. Giving students real-life, hands-on experience in running a race car and a race team will provide huge benefits for when they step out of education and into the working world.”
Horlor continued, “It’s our belief that the skills they are gaining in this championship can’t be learnt in a classroom or textbook, and it’s these skills that will help them in future employment, whether that’s in motorsport or any other industry. We hope everyone enjoys the weekend both on track and in the paddock.”
Acorn Printing Services has a long history of providing top-quality printing and embroidery services to various motorsport clients, including the BRSCC, British GT Official Merchandise, and BTCC Champions Tom Ingram, Colin Turkington, and Gordon Shedden. As part of their sponsorship, Acorn Printing Services will provide the winner of each Challenge class race with ten caps or beanies, each bearing the winning team’s logo. IMPORTANT: If a team wins more than once, the prize will be deferred to the next runner-up that hasn’t won that weekend.
Patrick Hathaway, Partnerships and Commercial Coordinator for Student Motorsport expressed his excitement about Acorn Printing Services’ partnership with the Challenge:
“I’m thrilled! We’ll work hard to ensure that Acorn Printing Services, the teams and the organisers benefit from the partnership. Having such a well-respected company in the motorsport industry supporting us is a fantastic boost for the Challenge. I’m confident this is just the start of a productive relationship. We also wish Duncan the best of luck on his return to racing this weekend and with one of our Challenge teams!”
Patrick and the team are working on securing and announcing partnerships for each race weekend, award partners, title sponsors and other exciting one-off activations.
